In line with instruction of worthy Commissioner Sahiwal (Mr. Babar Hayat Tarar)
during recent meeting about Chief Minister's Talent Hunt Program and as directed
by the worthy Director, CIIT Sahiwal (Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat), an awareness
seminar/ help desk was arranged in COMSATS University Sahiwal.
The Director Sahiwal Arts Council (Mr. Aqeel Ashfaq) alongwith DrRiaz Humdani (Assistant
Director) visited COMSATS University Sahiwal who were received by Mr. Safdar Ali,
Incharge Office of Development and welcomed by Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat,
Director in his office.
The delegation interacted with large number of students in their class rooms and
Help Desk in CS Block. They were briefed about Chief Minister's Talent Hunt Program.
They were encouraged to apply for "singing and painting" competition under this
program.
More than eight (08) students appeared in live audition for singing competition
in presence of Director, CIIT Sahiwal.
More than fifty (50) students from different divisions submitted their registration
forms on Help Desk whereas, remaining will register themselves by next week.
The delegation appreciated efforts of Director CIIT Sahiwal and his team. They extended
their gratitude for giving them direct access to large number of students.
