Positions available for Graduate Studies leading to M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering University of Toronto

Graduate research student positions are available starting September 2018 in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto. The areas of research include, but not limited to, steel-reinforced and FRP-reinforced concrete structures under normal and extreme loads, seismic retrofit of structures with FRP, effects of extreme climate on structures, effects of reactive aggregate on concrete nuclear structures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with excellent grades
  • Proof of English proficiency
  • Applicants with Master’s degrees will be preferred and can be considered for direct admission to the PhD program
