Renowned politician, Peer Sayed Imran Ahmed Shah, Member National Assembly (MNA)
and Chairman, Standing Committee on Privatisation, Govt. of Pakistan visited COMSATS
Sahiwal. Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat, Director COMSATS Sahiwal and his team
welcomed him in the campus.
Short meeting was held in Director office. Prof. Dr. Saleem Farooq Shaukat briefed
him about CIIT, its history, achievements, academic initiatives and ranking. He
congratulated the COMSATS family for outstanding achievements of COMSATS in very
short time.
Detailed discussion was made on role of COMSATS in improving quality education in
the country. Being the Representative of Sahiwal community, he thanked the management
of COMSATS for establishing their campus in Sahiwal.
Peer Sayed Imran Ahmad Shah recalled his previous visits during different events
at COMSATS Sahiwal. He extended his full support for improvement, infrastructure
development and expansion of the Sahiwal Campus.
