Prof. Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi (S.I, H.I), Rector, CIIT inaugurated newly constructed
Jamia Masjid at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Sahiwal. Prof.
Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Director CIIT Sahiwal, Directors CIIT Wah, Attok, Abbottabad,
Prof. Dr. Izhar Hussain, Registrar, Mr. Sohail Ghani, Controller Examination, Mr.
Muhammad Azam, Additional Treasurer, CIIT, Principal Seat, Islamabad, Dr. Zahiruddin
Shaikh, Director Student Affair, Engr. Bilal Rafiq and different Head of Departments
of CIIT Sahiwal were also with him.
We are thankful to each and every student, staff, faculty member, officer, civil
society who contributed generously in constructing this beautiful Masjid.
The untiring efforts of Masjid Committee led by Engr. Dr. Zahiruddin Shaikh, Mr.
Yasir Suhail, Head of Accounts Office, Civil Engineers & Workers led by Mr. Bilal
Rafiq and the Contractor & his team are commendable for completion of this project
in limited time.
After inauguration, the Rector CIIT addressed/ delivered Khutba in English and urdu
before Jumma prayer in Masjid.
