To enhance teaching quality and academic performance.
Scope
This process is concerned with the monitoring of academic activities at CUI Sahiwal
Campus.
Processes
- To prepare and disseminate CARC/DARC activity calendar before the start of each
semester.
- To develop strategies to improve quality of teaching.
- To ensure the lecture plans of each course are prepared well before time both in
depth and width.
- To maintain the record of lecture plans.
- Ensuring handing over of lecture-wise plan to students in the first week of the
semester.
- To monitor the lecture delivery during classes.
- To arrange periodical meetings with CRs and GRs for the feedback to improve quality
of teaching.
- To collect feedback from teachers after completion of the course towards continuous
improvement in the quality and curricula.
- To regulate DARC activities.
- To supervise the availability of classroom resources in each department i.e., LEDs,
ACs, Lights etc.
- To develop mechanism for best teacher award.
- To arrange training of faculty considering OBE system.
- To resolve students’ academic issues/complaints if not addressed at the department
level.
- To organize subject-based Quiz competitions.
- To review minutes of DARC meetings in order to enhance academic performance.
